StillAsleep — Privacy Policy

StillAsleep ("the App") is developed and operated by an independent developer. This policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and your rights.

Data We Collect

None. StillAsleep does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. All processing happens entirely on your device.

Sensors

The App reads your device's motion sensor to detect whether the device is at rest. Sensor readings are processed in real time and are never recorded, stored, or sent off-device.

Permissions

• Appear on top (also called "Display over other apps") — used to show a countdown banner before the screen turns off.
• Foreground service (health) — keeps the App running in the background when needed.
• Schedule exact alarm — used by the Fixed Countdown mode so the timer fires accurately, even if your phone is idle.
• Ignore battery optimizations — optional; lets you allow the App to keep running reliably in the background. Grants no access to any data.

No camera, microphone, location, or contacts permissions are requested. Internet access is used only by Google Play's billing service to process purchases.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

In-App Purchases

StillAsleep offers an optional one-time in-app purchase (Pro) that unlocks unlimited automatic use. The purchase is processed entirely through Google Play's billing system. Payment information (card number, billing address, etc.) is handled by Google Play; we never see or store it.

Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
